Cropping Season
The season of Matis is 3-5 days later than Darselect and 5-10 days later than Elsanta in the UK

Fruit Quality
The berries have a very large regular conical shape and are glossy orange red in colour. The fruit are firm, with a good shelf life and have a good, sweet flavour. Matis was produced from a cross with Mara Des Bois.

Fruit Yield
Matis is a high yielding variety which can produce over 1kg per plant.

Plant Characteristics
Plants are moderately vigorous with an upright/spreading habit. Runner production is similar to Elsanta.

Disease Resistance
Matis has good tolerance to Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahlia), crown rot (Phytophthora cactorum) and red core (Phytophthora fragariae). It has a slight susceptibility to powdery mildew (Podosphaera aphanis) on the foliage.
